The site offers excerpts from some of the diaries, plus tips on
starting one of your own.

about magazines looking for teen writing. An excellent resource
for any serious young writer.
RhymeZone
This online dictionary for poets (or song writers) allows you to
enter a word to find its rhymes, synonyms, definitions, related
words, words that don't exactly rhyme but sound somewhat similar,
etc. Though the site gives the option of weeding out "obscure"
words from the results, do be aware that "obscure" can be defined
somewhat broadly; unthinkable, for instance, was classified
as obscure in a sample search.
Steampunk
A searchable site offering advice and encouragement to sci-fi/fantasy
writers of all ages. You'll find interviews with new authors
like the 14 year-old writer of In the forests of the night,
tips on constructing a plot or setting, an explanation of how to
submit a manuscipt for publication, and more. One particularly
nice feature: much of the advice is proffered by well-known authors.
