All-Music Guide
This site is exceptionally easy to navigate. You can search for music by broad category such as rock, folk, gospel, etc. Or you can search for artist, album, style, record label, or even song. Biographical information is included on band members, as well as complete descriptions of the albums they have produced. One especially nice feature offers suggestions for similar artists or bands.  Essays, articles, and a music glossary makes the site even more useful.

An online version of the actual museum in Cleveland, Ohio where you can take a virtual tour, previewing exhibits such as "The Rolling Stones on Tour" or "The 500 songs that shaped rock & roll."
