Movies
This fun, easy-to-navigate movie site includes info. on new releases (cast, plot summary, reviews, & more), as well as feature articles on a variety of topics ranging from silent movies to cult films.  You can search the All Movie Guide by film title, stars and directors, or keyword.  Each film entry includes related titles and allows site visitors the opportunity to rate the film in a variety of categories.
A highly searchable cult-movie site with an emphasis on "B Movie" horror flicks.  You'll find articles on infamous and little known monster movies, interviews with writers, actors, & producers, plenty of black-and-white photo stills, and Top 10 lists in categories ranging from "Vincent Price" to "Brain Waves."  You can either search by keyword for a particular movie title (or monster or actor) or you can browse horror categories.
The website that's generated almost more hype than the movie itself!  The site disguises the movie as a documentary about supernatural events alleged true, with journal excerpts from one of the "missing" filmakers, audio & video clips from the footage supposedly found in the woods one year after their disappearance, press clippings, interviews with those involved, and much, much more.
A movie review site sponsored by Yahoo!, this site includes reviews of current and past movies, listings and ratings of movies recently released on DVD, and a collection of features and interviews relating to film and entertainment.
Prior to the launch of this site in 1996, FilmThreat was a magazine about underground movies.  Now it has expanded to include movie reviews of films currently in theaters. A fun feature "films within films," allows you to test your film knowlege via April Fool's send-up's of actual movies.
You can sample hundreds of movie soundtracks on this site, as well as read reviews submitted by site visitors.
A glossy, magazine-style webpage including everything you wanted to know and more about Hollywood productions. The site is searchable by title, genre, (action, horror, etc.), and approximate release date, and includes links to movie reviews, official movie sites, soundtracks, cast interviews, & more.  One nice extra allows you to actually hear interviews with your favorite stars by downloading RealAudio (a free plug-in).  Interactive online games & contests are also available.
A searchable database of over 150,000 movies, this site provides info. on all types of new and old movies, their casts, directors, reviews by both nationally known critics & site visitors, and much, much more.  Interactive features include the opportunity to give movies you have seen online ratings, chat rooms, and the opportunity to pose movie-rated questions and receive answers online.
You can find complete movie reviews from over 150 print and online publications on this searchable site.  The database includes foreign films, classics, and recent releases.  Lists of videos released each month, top box office succeses, and the American Film Institutes' choices for "100 Greatest American Movies" round out the site.
Provides summary info. on and stills from recent movies--with links to official websites--in a section searchable by release date and alphabetically by the name of the movie. A section done in cooperation with the Barnes & Noble website allows you to find the book version of a favorite movie. Other sections provide celebrity photos, answers to frequently asked questions about movies, and links to other movie-related websites.  Interactive features include the ability to particpate in online polls and surveys and rate the movies you have seen.
A great site for reviews of 87,000 movies, with 200,000 review links.  Includes listings of the best and worst movies of the year, a hot topics message board, the latest news in entertainment, and the chance to sign up for an email newsletter.
No selection of movie-related websites would be complete without a link to the official Star Wars site.  Includes episode guides to the various movies, plus information on the heroes & villains, planets, technology, weaponry, and more.  Nice extras include a chat room, video clips, online comics, and a virtual tour of Star Wars images now on display at the Smithsonian.
