Twenty-six diligent, talented participants filled the 2005 After School Cyber Café's canvas with a vast collection of colorful worlds – ranging from Star Wars, Spongebob Squarepants, and DC and Marvel comics to sports, animals and government/civic lessons.

With each passing year, our young webmasters amaze and astound, as they build on the knowledge of prior students. Such complex lessons as creating web animations and incorporating Javascript (a special programming language that adds interactive and motion-based actions to elements in webpages) have been mastered. These complicated feats are reflected in the creativity of our students, which seems to flourish more and more with each new session.

In addition to the wonderful web gems our Cyber Café members have conceived, we are pleased to say that many of them have also discovered treasure in the rich collection that the Richmond Heights Memorial Library has to offer on its shelves. In celebrating this, we are excited about including a new section to the Cyber Café archives below — the Book Report Collection. Please peruse through it to see how many of our students kept busy reading – in between website construction.

Finally, we are proud of our students' accomplishments and we encourage you to view all of the fruits of their labor over the past year. (Click here for personal thanks.) Our students busied themselves throughout the year, crafting their cyber masterpieces utilizing a wireless lab of laptop computers and a select suite of software (including Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver). The end result culminated into the list of sites that you will see below. Please feel free to search through all of the student web pages from the most current, 2005, to prior websites. Enjoy!

And, of course, we are always looking for new participants... so if you are a parent or a student who may be interested in signing up, please click here to find out how.
